Scott Williams is a trial attorney and shareholder in HKM's Civil Litigation Group, focusing his practice primarily in the areas of:

Scott handles claims up to and through trial involving personal injury, wrongful death, economic loss, and property damage. Scott has successfully represented clients in state and federal courts in Minnesota as well as in numerous arbitration and appraisal proceedings.

He is admitted to practice in all Minnesota state and federal courts.  He was selected for inclusion in Minnesota Super Lawyers® – Rising Stars Edition, in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2017.
Scott is a member of the Minnesota, Hennepin County, and Ramsey County Bar Associations and the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association (MDLA).

Scott received his B.A., summa cum laude, All–College Honors, from St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota, where he was a member of the Honors Program and graduated with Departmental Distinction in English. Scott received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he was a staff member and an editor of the Minnesota Law Review. While in law school, Scott served as a judicial extern to U.S. District Court Chief Magistrate Judge Jonathan G. Lebedoff (D. Minn.) and as a board member of the Minnesota Justice Foundation Student Chapter.

In his free time, Scott enjoys reading, running, watching sports, and spending time with his family.
