Chris Iijima is HKM’s Director of Litigation Support. In this capacity, Chris combines his passion for law, technology, and project management to provide essential services to HKM attorneys and clients. He is an attorney licensed to practice in Minnesota federal and state courts, a Certified Electronic Discovery Specialist (CEDS), a Certified Professional Project Manager (CPPM), and is Six Sigma Certified.
Chris received a B.A. in Japanese from the University of Minnesota. He then studied abroad in Japan for two years, where he earned his second degree black belt in the Japanese martial art Aikido. Chris received his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law where he was executive editor of the William Mitchell Law Review. Following law school, Chris was a law clerk for the Honorable Terri Stoneburner at the Minnesota Court of Appeals before practicing law with a Minnesota law firm.
He grew up in Minneapolis and enjoys sailing, guitar, woodcarving, fishing, and exploring the outdoors with his wife and daughter.
